Fishermen’s Bastion -Budapest- Hungary

Text: Built in 1905 on the medieval castle walls, the neo-Romanesque ramparts were so named because the city's fishermen whose defend this side of the hill. The actual bastion never served a defensive purpose, it is ornamental. The view over the Danube, the Parliament Buildings and the Chain Bridge, is outstanding.

Cathedral of Esztergom- Hungary

Text: View of the town and river Dunube from the top of the Cathedral. It was built between 1822 and 1869 in neo-Classical style. It is the biggest cathedral in Hungary. Esztergom lies about 60 km north-west of the capital Budapest. Slovakia is on the other riverside.

Text: Keszthely is a town with 25.000 inhabitants located at the western shore of the Balaton lake. Interesting for sightseeing are Festetics Castle and the Balaton Museum. This town has a faculty for agriculture.

Vajdahunyad Castle - Hungary

Text: The original Vajdahunyad Castle was constructed in 1896 to show in a single building all the different styles that can be found in Hungary. In 1904 the castle was reconstructed. It shows these architectonical styles: Roman, Gothic, transitional and Renaissance-Baroque. The building hosts the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture.
