Caen Memorial - France: Caen Memorial or "peace museum" (Musée de la paix) is in Caen city. It was opened by François Mitterrand, on 6 June 1988, as well as twelve ambassadors from countries that took part in the fighting in Normandy. It housed a wide collection about the battle, but also historic documents about before years in France.
