Fontevraud Abbey - France: The abbey is one of the largest monastic complexes in Europe and construction whilst mostly in the 12th century has continued to the 20th. The abbey was the site of the graves of King Henry II of England, his wife Eleanor of Aquitaine, their son King Richard I of England.
