Apamea - Syria: Built by Saluqos Nikator, the first king of the Seleucids in Syria in 300 B.C.. Apamea became a center of philosophy and thought. Most of the uncovered ruins in it date back to the Roman and Byzantine ages. It is distinguished for its high walls and the 2 kilometers main thoroughfare (âCardoâ) surrounded by columns with twisted fluting.
Apamea - Siria: Construida por Seleuco Nikator, el primer rey de los Seléucidas en Siria en el 300 a.d.C.. En la era cristiana Apamea se convirtió en un centro de filosofÃa y pensamiento. La mayorÃa de las ruinas al descubierto datan de la época romana y bizantina. Se distingue por sus altas murallas y la vÃa principal de 2 kilómetros (âCardoâ) rodeada de columnas con estriado trenzado.
