	Havelis de Shekhavati - India The Havelis of Shekhavati - Rajasthan - India Author: Eva & A. De Cara Text: Haveli, las casas de los ricos mercaderes de la región rajastaní de Shekhavati. Al principio los motivos fueron mitologicos y religiosos, pero en el siglo XIX, durante el dominio británico, las influencias cambiaron y comenzaron a aparecer aviones, trenes, etc.   The Havelis of Shekhavati have beautiful frescoes that adorn their walls. Earlier wall paintings were largely based on the mythological themes, depicting gods, heroes, epics and local legends but during the British Raj's influence, 19th century, they found new motifs: trains, cars, balloons, telephones, gramophones...
	Bikaner - Rajastan Bikaner - Rajasthan Author: Eva & A. De Cara Text: Fundada por Rao Bika en 1488, es una gran ciudad en el desierto, cerca de la frontera pakistaní, posee imponentes palacios y templos esculpidos en piedra. Entre lo más destacable: El fuerte Junagarh, El palacio Lallgar, el templo Shri Laxminath, Bhandeshwar Jain Temple, las havelis y, cerca de Bikaner, el templo Karni Mata de Deshnok.   Founded in 1488 AD by Rao Bika Ji, it's located in north west part of Rajasthan state. The town display some of the finest creations of Rajput civilization: Junagarh Fort, Lallgarh Palace, Shri Laxminath Temple, Bhandeshwar Jain Temple, Havelis and, near of Bikaner, Deshnok Karni Mata Temple.
	Jaisalmer - Rajastan Jaisalmer - Rajasthan - India Author: Eva & A. De Cara Text: Esta ciudad del desierto rajastaní, cerca de su frontera con Pakistan. La ciudad amurallada, fue fundada en el S. XII, en un enclave importante en las rutas de carabanas hacia Asia Central.   This desert fortress, founded in 12th centrury, close to Rajasthan's border with Pakistan, is a golden sandstone city with crenellated city walls.
	La ciudad azul de Jodhpur - Rajastan - India The blue town of Jodhpur -Rajasthan - India Author: Eva & A. De Cara Text: Desde las torres de Mehrangargh, la fortaleza más impresionante de Rajastán, se puede escuchar los sonidos que suben de la "ciudad azul" de Jodhpur. De Cara Text: Mehrangargh (fuerte majestuoso) fue comenzado por Rao Jodha en 1459 A.D., el fundador de la ciudad de Jodhpur y capital de los Rathores (clan Rajput) y del estado de Merwar.   The massive sandstone Mehrangargh Fort is situated over Jodhpur city, dominating the former capital of the Marwar state, on the steep hill hidatoonk, at an altitude of about 125 metres.

In the fort are magnificent palaces, courtyards and other buildings such as Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Sileh Khana, Rani Bas, Top Khana, Vichala Mahal, Sringar Chauki and Daulat Khana.
	Templos jainistas de Delwara o Dilwara - Rajastan - India Jain Dilwara or Delwara temples - Mt. Abu - Rajasthan - India Author: Eva & A. De Cara Text: A 2 Km del Monte Abu, se han esculpido los principales y mas sagrados templos del jainismo durante los siglos XI al XIII. Vimal Vasahi es el templo mas importante, dedicado al primer Jain Tirthankara Adinath, está delicadamente esculpido en mármol blanco.   The five legendary marble temples of Dilwara are the sacred pilgrimage of the Jains. Temples are located about 2½ kilometers from Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station.
	Templo jainista Vimal Vasahi en Delwara - Rajastan - India Vimal Vasahi Jain Temple - Mount Abu - Rajasthan - India Author: Eva & A. De Cara Text: El templo de Vimal Vasari está construido en marmol blanco y es de inigualable belleza y delicadeza. Dedicado al primer Tirthankara Adinath fue construido en el 1021.   Vimal Vasahi Temple is carved entirely out of white marble, was built in 1021 AD by Vimal Shah, a minister of Raja Bhimdeo. The temple is dedicated to the 1st Jain Tirthankara Adinath.
