Shwezigon Pagoda-Bagan-Burma - Myanmar: Shwezigon,one of the oldest pagodas in Bagan,was built as the most important reliquary shrine,commenced by King Anawrahta and completed by King Kyanzittha (1084-1113).There the 37 pre-Buddhist Nats (the spirits) were first officially endorsed by the monarchy.
