Azem Palace-Damascus - Syria

With beautiful gardens, polychrome stone, splendid marble, cascading fountains, and fragrant flowers it is an astonishing example of an ancient Damascene house.

It is 650 m above sea-level, an area of 3000 square meters and has 13 huge towers.It was built for controlling the Homs Gap, gateway to Sryia.
