Text: The "Grand Louvre" is a part of the "Grand Travaux", which also includes the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, the Opéra Bastille. Covering an area of some 40 hectares in the heart of Paris, the Louvre offers almost 60,000 m² of exhibition rooms dedicated to preserving items representing 11 millennia of civilisation and culture.

Antigua estacion D´Orsay, actualmente concvertida en el maginifico Museo D´Orsay. Siglos XIX y pincipios de XX. Cuadros famosisimos, y muchos de ellos magníficos, Esculturas, y un ambiente excepcional. Se puede mirar el restaurante lujosisimo, y luego come un bocadilo en la terraza de da al Sena, con el Louvre detrás. Mi museo Favorito.

Text: This bridge was built in record time: April to November 1828. The name comes from the presence near it of the building that housed the archbishopric. Sited close to Notre Dame cathedral, it has now been demolished.
