Arc du Triomphe -Paris- France Author: Susana y Simón Text: The Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile, the world's largest triumphal arch, forms the backdrop for an impressive urban ensemble in Paris. Its deceptively simple design and immense size, 49.5 m (162 ft) in height, mark it unmistakably as a product of late 18th-century romantic neoclassicism.

Tour Eiffel -Paris- France Author: Susana y Simón Text: From ground to the top.

Another signature is also placed in the Inner Circle between the Inner Yellow and Blue Sections. I visited and shot photographs on October 1, 2005.

Opéra of Paris Author: Susana y Simón Text: It was ordered to be built by Napoleon III as part of the great Parisian reconstruction project carried out by Baron Haussmann. The project was put out to competition and was won by Charles Garnier (1825–1898), a then unknown 35-year-old architect, but it was one of the architectural masterpieces of its time. Built in the Neo-Baroque style, it is the thirteenth theatre to house the Paris Opera since it was founded by Louis XIV in 1669.

Tour Eiffel Author: Susana y Simón Text: In 1889 the tower was a colossal fairground attraction, but during the 1920s it became a symbol of modernity and the avant-garde, inspiring poets such as Guillaume Apollinaire, film-makers, photographers and numerous painters. Its effect was a burst of almost ethereal clarity, piercing the architectural landscape of Paris.
