 Opéra of Paris - France: It was ordered to be built by Napoleon III as part of the great Parisian reconstruction project carried out by Baron Haussmann. The project was put out to competition and was won by Charles Garnier (1825–1898), a then unknown 35-year-old architect, but it was one of the architectural masterpieces of its time. Built in the Neo-Baroque style, it is the thirteenth theatre to house the Paris Opera since it was founded by Louis XIV in 1669.
Opéra Garnier - Opera de París. - Francia: Napoleón III de Francia ordenó su construcción a Charles Garnier. La obra fue interrumpida por la Comuna de 1870, pero logró ser inaugurada el 15 de enero de 1875, durante la III República.
