The Sultan al Muayyad Complex-Cairo-Egypt - Complejo del Sultán Al Muayyad-El Cairo-Egipto

 The Sultan al Muayyad Complex-Cairo-Egypt: The hypostyle plan of the congregational mosque is similar to that of the khanqah (Sufi shrine) of Faraj Ibn Barquq. This is a late example in Cairo of the open courtyard plan on a large scale, and the last such hypostyle mosque to be built in Cairo. There is an ablution fountain in the middle of the courtyard.
Complejo del Sultán Al Muayyad-El Cairo-Egipto: El plan hipóstilo de la mezquita congregacional es similar al del khanqah (monasterio sufí) de Faraj Ibn Barquq. Es un ejemplo tardío en El Cairo de patio abierto a gran escala y el último de este tipo de mezquita hipóstila construida en El Cairo. Hay una fuente de ablución en medio del patio.
